Every line of your tax return, measured against your industry.
The Itemized Report examines every expense, asset and liability on your 1120-S, 1065 or Schedule C, compares each one with businesses like yours, and tells you exactly what to change to run leaner and keep more profit.
More than a bottom-line number. A full examination of your business.
Your profit is the sum of dozens of decisions: what you charge, what you pay for materials, how many trucks you run, how fast customers pay. We look at each one.
Every line gets a comparison, a dollar impact and a next step.
Here's a slice of a real-format report. The full Itemized Report covers every income, expense, asset and liability line on your return.
Illustrative example only. Industry figures in your report come from IRS data for your industry and size.
Built for the way small businesses actually file.
S corporations
Every income and deduction line, plus the Schedule L balance sheet. Also checks reasonable officer pay, distributions against basis, shareholder loans, and whether retained earnings tie out.
Partnerships & multi-member LLCs
Every income and deduction line and the Schedule L balance sheet, with guaranteed payments, partner capital, debt levels and how profit compares once partners are paid.
Sole proprietors & single-member LLCs
Every expense line, including vehicle costs, home office, depreciation and each "other expense." Plus a self-employment tax check: would an S-corp election save you money at your profit level?
Schedule C has no balance sheet, so these reports focus on income, expenses and multi-year trends.
Upload only the business pages. For Schedule C, that's Schedule C plus Forms 4562 and 8829 if you filed them. We remove everything personal automatically.
A complete checkup, then a prescription.

Questions
What does "line by line" actually mean?
We read every income, expense, asset and liability line on your return, compare each with businesses in your industry and size range, show what any difference costs you, and give specific steps to fix it.
I file a Schedule C. What will my report cover?
Every Schedule C expense line, vehicle and home office costs, depreciation and multi-year trends, plus a check on whether an S-corp election would cut your self-employment tax. Schedule C has no balance sheet, so asset and debt analysis isn't included.
My books are a mess. Will this still work?
Yes. We start from your filed tax return, not your bookkeeping. If numbers on the return don't tie out, the report flags them so you know where to clean up.
Where do the industry comparisons come from?
From IRS Statistics of Income data, which reports what businesses in each industry put on the same tax-return lines you did, grouped by size.
Does this replace my CPA?
No. It's a second set of eyes on how your business performs. Many owners share the report with their CPA, or add our CPA review.
